The Impact You’ll Make

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven operational grower to assist in overseeing the daily cultivation operations of leafy greens, herbs, and microgreens. This role is responsible for optimizing plant health, yield, and quality through effective crop management strategies, data-driven decision making, and team support.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining best-in-class growing practices and ensuring operational excellence in a high-tech, sustainable indoor farming environment.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Manage leafy green production from seeding through harvest, ensuring optimal yield, quality, and consistency
  • Monitor plant health and environmental conditions; diagnose and resolve issues related to nutrients, pests, diseases, and climate
  • Operate and oversee environmental systems, including lighting, irrigation, fertigation, and CO₂ controls
  • Track, analyze, and report crop performance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
  • Provide support to day-to-day team operations, providing guidance, training, and hands-on problem-solving
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and growth-oriented team environment
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and food safety (GMP) standards
  • Partner with Agronomy, R&D, QA, and subject matter experts to align growing strategies with operational goals
  • Share insights on crop performance, trials, and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Support audits and inspections as needed
  • Manage inventory of grow supplies, including seeds, nutrients, substrates, and PPE
  • Coordinate crop scheduling, space planning, and team workflows to meet production targets

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agronomy, Plant Science, Crop Science, or a closely related field — or equivalent work experience
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in CEA production hydroponic, or greenhouse environment with significant responsibility for crop outcomes


What Makes You Successful Here

  • Proven experience supporting or leading a team in a production agriculture setting
  • Deep knowledge of plant nutrition, hydroponic systems, pest/disease management,
  • and crop scheduling
  • Proficiency with cultivation software and environmental control systems
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on, and team-focused environment
