Financial Planning and Analysis Intern, Rides

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated FP&A Intern to join our Rides Finance team. This role offers a comprehensive look at our full P&L and strategic planning cycles. You will support budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis across the Rides business unit, culminating in the delivery of a strategic project designed to drive business growth or operational efficiency.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Deliver a dedicated strategic project (e.g., market expansion analysis, pricing sensitivity modelling, or unit economics optimisation) and present findings to leadership.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and rolling forecasts across the Rides business unit.
Use, develop, or maintain financial models to analyse business performance by country and product vertical.
Contribute to the monthly and quarterly Business Review (MBR/QBR) process by identifying key variances and performance drivers.
Partner with stakeholders across the Rides team to support integrated business collaboration.
Build models or tools that identify cost-saving opportunities or revenue leakages.

About you:

You are currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar discipline.
You have strong analytical skills and are highly proficient in Google Sheets or Excel; experience with SQL or automation (Apps Script) is highly valued.
You are detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
You are able to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and handle confidential financial data responsibly.
You are fluent in English and can translate complex data into actionable strategic insights.
