About the company Continuum Loadworks is developing Tensora™, a hierarchical load-sharing structural assembly designed for heavy lift, rigging, and critical load-bearing environments. Rather than relying on a single monolithic cable or sling, Tensora distributes load across multiple parallel structural elements to improve resilience, inspectability, and progressive failure behavior. The company is currently entering Phase 1 pilot manufacturing readiness, focused on disciplined prototype builds and early industrial partner evaluations. Role overview We are seeking a Program Director to lead the execution of our Phase 1 manufacturing and pilot-readiness program. This role is responsible for translating documented systems into operational execution and coordinating early manufacturing, testing, and pilot partner readiness. This is an early-stage leadership role suited for someone who enjoys building systems, working hands-on with hardware, and shaping the operational backbone of a new company.
Key responsibilities
• Lead execution of Phase 1 manufacturing readiness
• Implement station-based build process and quality gates
• Coordinate fixture fabrication and equipment commissioning
• Oversee micro-batch prototype builds
• Manage documentation, QC processes, and NCR/ECO workflows
• Coordinate pilot partner preparation and evaluation builds
• Support test planning and validation coordination Ideal background
• Experience in manufacturing, mechanical systems, or industrial operations
• Familiarity with structured build processes and quality systems
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Comfortable working in early-stage environments where systems evolve quickly
