Physical Requirements: - Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
- Ability to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment, such as printer, telephone, etc.
- Ability to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Ability to operate lab instrumentation and equipment
- Ability to lift and move 20 lbs
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Complete basic tasks on engineering documentation
- Identify areas for improvement, suggest solutions
- Prepare standard protocols and reports and communicate results
- Design, procure, and fabricate simple tooling and fixtures
- Design and coordinate engineering tests and experiments
- Design and model device components and assemblies and create detailed drawings
- Complete simple or basic project/product development tasks to include any of the following: writing and/or verifying specifications, maintaining product/process documentation, testing processes, equipment, components and product, and validating equipment and processes
