- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Preferred: - Previous internship or related experience in accounting or finance
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP)

- Ability to take direction from supervisors and adjust to changing work targets
- Desire to work in a constantly changing, dynamic work environment

- Ability to stay focused on tasks, organize, compare, interpret basic data, and assess problems with guidance
- Position requires being physically present on the premises during regular company hours or as approved by management
Physical Requirements: - Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
- Ability to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment, such as printer, telephone, etc.
- Ability to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Ability to operate lab instrumentation and equipment
- Ability to lift and move 20 lbs
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support the purchasing, accounts payable and receivable processes
- Assist in reconciling general ledger accounts and resolving any discrepancies
- Assist in the preparation of journal entries related to monthly General Ledger activity and adjusting journal entries
- Analyze and research financial information pertaining to statements of operations, assets, liabilities, and capital
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed
- Follow department and company policies and procedures
- Other tasks as assigned by management
