About the RoleWe are hiring an experienced Operational CFO for a client-facing, hybrid role based in Cincinnati, OH for our client. This position is ideal for a senior finance leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution while working with multiple growth-stage businesses.
Key Responsibilities - Act as a strategic financial partner to founders and leadership teams
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Improve financial reporting, processes, and operational efficiency
- Monitor KPIs and financial performance
- Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Support key business decisions including pricing, hiring, and investments
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financials
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 15–20+ years of finance or accounting experience
- Prior experience as CFO, VP Finance, or senior finance leader
- Strong financial analysis and strategic planning skills
- CPA, CFA, or similar certification preferred
- Experience working with growth-stage or founder-led companies is a plus
