We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to develop tools and insights from our internal and external data sources. This role spans a wide range of initiatives from internal data analysis to help inform decision making and strategy to enhancing our behavioral machine learning products improving upon the real-time security and fraud protection mechanisms.

Responsibilities

Design, enhance, and develop new machine learning models and strategies
Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization

Skills & Qualifications

Strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on product development
Experience using statistical and ml libraries in python
Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications
Experience with machine learning (supervised, unsupervised, and reinforced learning)
Knowledge of common machine learning algorithms (SVM, kNN, K-Means, XGBoost)
Experience visualizing and presenting data
