The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics competes at the highest level of intercollegiate athletics with the vision to reach Next Level Success for all 18 varsity teams and more than 450 student-athletes. The Bearcats have a proud athletics history, winning eight national championships and 118 conference titles. The Cincinnati men's basketball team is among the 15 winningest programs all-time, while the football team became the first non-Power Five program to compete in the College Football Playoff in 2021. Olympic gold medalist volleyball player Jordan Thompson, NBA Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson and Major League Baseball legend Sandy Koufax are among the several luminaries who have competed as Bearcats.

The University of Cincinnati, Department of Athletics is seeking applicants for a Program Director for the C-Club. The C-Club is dedicated to establishing a Letterwinners organization by supporting University of Cincinnati Athletics and building a lasting tradition through service, programs and camaraderie.
The position will serve as primary relationship manager for UC’s former athlete community to support and drive the C-Club’s mission. This includes organizing events, creating and improving communication channels, developing and executing initiatives that drive membership and engagement.
• Serve as the primary relationship manager for our UC former-athlete community
• Assist with the Hall of Fame event as we invite back all former Hall of Fame members
• Lead C-Club Homecoming tailgate
• Lead all C-Club communication via newsletters, emails, texts, etc.
• Initiate the new Bearcats Circle app and serve as the primary hub for communication for the C-Club
• Collaborate with UCATS to increase former athlete engagement
• Support sport engagements with alumni events that are not conducted through UCATS, including all C-Club Champions events
• Work with each sport’s coaching staff to support alumni advisory boards and set protocols for engagement and activation as well as building out calendars for communication
• Maintain and update the database of former UC student-athletes in coordination with UCATS/Foundation
• Develop and execute strategies to engage, recruit, and retain former student-athletes
• Set goals by sport for former athletes who are active UCATS members
• Evaluate additional opportunities during the calendar year to engage former student-athletes as a group and by sport
• Bridge the gap between current student-athletes and alumni by managing career networking events
• Lead initiatives for home Football games for fan/donor/former athlete engagement
• Lead initiatives as directed by the Athletics Director for designated sports throughout the calendar year
• Perform needs assessment by evaluating programs for quality, appropriateness of content and effectiveness of materials and make recommendations.
• Develop and write materials, address inquiries, provide information and maintain records.
• Oversee budget, approve and monitor expenditures and prepare financial reports.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures.
• Act as a liaison with internal departments, external entities and community organizations.
• May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
