UC Clermont College provides student-centered undergraduate education in an open-access, regional college environment. We foster intellectual, cultural, and social development among our student community. UC Clermont College has an enrollment of approximately 3,000 students and is located in Batavia, Ohio, twenty miles east of the University of Cincinnati’s downtown campus. We offer a variety of associate’s degrees, two-year technical degrees and certificates, and prepare students for transition or transfer into baccalaureate degree programs. To this end, the Science & Health Department at UC Clermont College seeks applications for a tenure-track, teaching-focused faculty position in Biology at the level of Assistant Professor. The position will begin August 15, 2027, unless otherwise indicated.
Tenure-track faculty responsibilities include the following:
All candidates must demonstrate/provide evidence of effective teaching and professional development and must have appropriate degrees awarded by the time of appointment.
Position Description: Selected candidates should expect to focus on teaching first and second-year biology courses, including non-majors’ courses. Candidates may be asked to teach other courses included in the Biology department.
